Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a wonderful technique that can free you from fears, phobias, limiting beliefs ( thoughts such as I can’t do that; Not for people like me; I’m too old; I’m too young etc), and help anxiety and depression as well as many other things.
EFT is a Meridian Energy Therapy that works on the same meridian points as used in acupuncture but without the use of needles by using fingertips to stimulate the meridian points.
When energy is flowing freely around the body smoothly we feel our best, however when we have fears, phobias, pains, stress or anxiety then negativity builds up causing problems within the body. Negativity can physically affect every cell in our body.
If you can imagine your energy system as a large river smoothly flowing around your body from area to area and you are feeling good. When stress, or anxiety or any other problem is present the negativity builds up and becomes like the large logs that block up the Canadian rivers causing the energy flow to slow or stop allowing problems to manifest in the body. By tapping on certain meridian points with our fingers we can release the negativity and therefore release the pain, fear, phobia or other problems that are occurring.
I have been an EFT Practitioner for over 10 years helping many people relieve the problems they had including releasing a fear of dogs through to anxiety and depression. I have even helped someone suffering from Trichotillomania (a disorder of pulling out hair).
I am also a qualified EFT Trainer and I will be offering workshops where you can learn basic EFT for use on yourself and friends and also Practitioner Training if you are looking to become a therapist or a new therapy to add to your existing skills. When you learn how to use EFT it is like having a tool in your pocket to help you with emotional situations.
