White Vinegar has been used in household cleaning for generations, it is a good all rounder for cleaning so many things from windows to laundry, descaling coffee machines to removing the sticky residue from labels.
To clean windows, leaving them sparkly and shining mix equal parts of white vinegar and water. Apply to windows with a sponge. Wipe clean using a wet squeegee, dry cloth or newspaper making sure you reach right into the corners of the window. Squeezed lemon can be added to the mixture which will give the windows a lovely fresh smell.
With the Christmas season coming up fast now a good tip for all those beautiful bouquets of flowers received as gifts the fresh flowers will last longer if you add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar and 2 tablespoons of sugar to the water in a 1-quart vase. Don’t forget to trim stems and change water every few days or when water starts to get cloudy.
I will be back with more tips soon
Bye for now
